Indoor cycling studio Epic Ryde is getting a tune-up this weekend.

After three years in Edgewater, owner Lori Melchior and crew are moving to a new location in RiNo, with a grand opening party on Saturday, March 14. The 3,000-square-foot space—nearly double the size of Epic Ryde’s former gym—will include a range of cycling classes that use 21 RealRyder bikes, which tilt to both sides to add more core work to the exercise. (Melchior hopes to add five more bikes eventually.) A separate room in the building holds 30 TRX straps (up from 10 in the previous space) for suspension training sessions.

(Five rides to start training for now)

The 34-year-old Melchior, who lives in Lousville, is excited for Epic Ryde to relocate to the city proper. “[Moving to RiNo] opens up new doors and opportunities for what our studio can offer,” she says. “We’re excited to create a community down here, where so much is happening right now.”

The opening bash will take place from 5 to 8 p.m., with drinks from Epic Brewing, Rock Bottom Brewery, Stem Ciders, and the newly opened Ratio Beerworks, as well as the opportunity to win gift certificates from local businesses like nearby dining mainstay Acorn. 2823 Larimer St., 303-416-4907, epicryde.com.
