If you believe—as EatDenver does—that food is fuel for community, then get out and support the Big Eat this Thursday. The fifth annual culinary event showcases the food and drink of more than 45 of Denver’s hottest restaurants, which means you’ll nosh and sip (and rub elbows) with the likes of Ace Eat Serve, Beast & Bottle, Beatrice & Woodsley, Euclid Hall, North County, Pinche Tacos, Root Down, and Sugarmill.

“The Big Eat is beyond just throwing a great party. We want to create a memorable event and provide a true taste of Denver,” says Adam Schlegel, executive director of EatDenver. “Denver food lovers have very long list of restaurants they are looking to visit. This event gives them the opportunity to try it all and meet the minds behind the dish.”

This year, the fest takes place on the galleria at the Denver Performing Arts Complex (did you know the wavy glass canopy was inspired by Milan’s Galleria?). Plan for lots of local beer and spirits, signature cocktails from the Colorado Bartenders Guild, buskers, breakdancing, and a few surprises. Bonus: The Big Eat supports Denver Urban Gardens, Work Options for Women, and Cooking Matters.

Rain or shine, 6 to 10 p.m., Galleria at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, 1100 13th St., $55. Purchase tickets here.
