Take it from us: One of the best places to catch a Colorado sunrise is deep in the mountains, while sitting in a natural hot spring. Enter Conundrum Hot Springs: tucked in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness just outside downtown Aspen, this 8.5-mile hike (one way) starts at 8,765 feet. You’ll wind through mountain valleys and over refreshingly chilly river crossings up to the hot springs, situated at 11,222 feet. Check this adventure off your Colorado Bucket List before summer ends.
