We love shopping at this Boulder boutique for its collection of colorful goods, including casual women’s clothes, sumptuous scarves, pretty home accessories, and statement-making jewelry from around the world—but also because every item you purchase was made by an artisan earning a fair wage.

Landmine Design

The jewelry (found at Highland boutique Whorl) from this nonprofit is designed in Denver but crafted by women in a stretch of Cambodia that has the highest concentration of land mines in the world. The added income means mothers don’t have to abandon their families to labor as migrant workers in nearby Thailand.
