If you’re looking for lunch plans today, consider heading to Olde Town Arvada and grabbing a burger from the Steuben’s truck.

Steuben’s Arvada location isn’t open quite yet, but today’s pop-up isn’t just a PR stunt. All the revenue from the truck’s lunch sales is going to Arvada’s School House Kitchen & Libations. Back in February, an electrical fire damaged the kitchen extensively, forcing the restaurant to shut down indefinitely. Since then, owner Scott Spears has continued to pay his staff, and even launched a T-shirt fundraiser to help offset the cost.

Today’s lunch pop-up is a nice way to welcome Steuben’s to the neighborhood, while helping the School House remain a part of it as they rebuild.

Eat: The Steuben’s Truck lunch pop-up runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The truck will be parked in the Roadies Performance Inc. lot in Olde Towne Arvada. 5675 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada
