No stranger to Denver’s food scene, Joshua Pollack, owner of Rosenberg’s Bagels & Delicatessen, is bringing more East Coast flavor to the Mile High City in the form of salty, twisted pastries. City Pretzel Company, a new concept from Pollack and three college friends, Scott Matasar, Blake Adams, and Michael Smuts, will offer soft pretzels served with a variety of mustards and cheese sauces as well as pretzel dogs.

This is no ordinary meal on wheels. City Pretzel will work its way through Denver on a tuk tuk, an eye-catching three-wheeled vehicle traditionally used as a taxi in parts of southeast Asia and Latin America. City Pretzel’s location can be tracked via social media accounts such as Twitter and Instagram. But before it hits the road this summer, the pretzel mobile will debut at the Slow Food Farmers Market at the Source this Sunday, June 5. Since a fire in the apartments above has effectively closed Rosenberg’s until at least August, visiting City Pretzel this weekend is a great way to show support for Pollack—and get your carb fix.

Other participants at the June 5 market will include Five Points Fermentation, Hunt & Gather, Leffler Family Farms, Coutelier NOLA, Sweet Jaynes, Mondo Market Guest, RiNo Yacht Club Market Cocktail, and Little Locavores: Seed Planting. The market takes place every Sunday through October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
