With so many running groups formed around a love of craft beer in Colorado, it’s no surprise that Colorado Brewery Running Series is already a hit. The running series—which calls itself an “unrace” due to no timing devices or medals upon finishing—hosts 5k run/walk events at different local breweries on select Saturdays. The $30 registration gets you a 5k race, free craft beer from the event’s host brewery and a collectors’ pint glass or “seasonal swag” gift. The post-run celebration has live music and local food trucks. Proceeds from the registration benefit a Colorado charity or nonprofit.

The Colorado Brewery Running Series’ website keeps a running count of money donated ($251), miles ran/walked (1,467) and beers consumed (631). The upcoming event at Grandma’s House on July 9th is sold out, but check out the other upcoming series events in July: Former Future on July 16th and Tivoli Brewing Company on July 23rd. Get in some miles, drink good beer and do good this summer.
