Breakfast has been called the most important meal of the day but we’re of the mind that it’s also the most delicious. Eggs, bacon, biscuits, crepes, oatmeal, tacos, avocado toast, congee, pho…the list of savory and sweet is multicultural and endless. Join Amanda M. Faison, the former food editor of 5280 Magazine, and local breakfast whiz Mike Nery of Onefold for a discussion of the wonderful world of breakfast and brunch. The chosen book is Biscuit Head by Jason and Carolyn Roy, which is devoted to the craft of “spreading the gospel of not just biscuits, but gravies, jams, and all manner of delicious breakfast foods.” (Other books worth browsing on the subject: Big Bad Breakfast by John Currence and America’s Best Breakfasts by Lee Brian Schrager and Adeena Sussman.) Bonus: samples.

Free, 6 p.m., Ross-Cherry Creek Branch Library, 305 Milwaukee St., 720-865-0120
