Tune in to the Travel Channel on Sunday and you’ll see a familiar site: Steuben’s Uptown. The Denver eatery will be featured on the “Blue Plate Special” episode of Food Paradise (6 p.m. MST), which focuses on “how the Foodie Revolution has taken favorite local diners by storm.”

While restaurateur Josh Wolkon can’t reveal which dishes will be showcased, he told us that the producers stepped into the kitchen with executive chef Dave Jabour and talked to customers. Wolkon’s three Secret Sauce Food & Beverage concepts—Steuben’s, Ace, and Vesta—have all been featured on national TV before (on shows such as Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives), and he says the experience is always enjoyable and fruitful. “When you get this opportunity for what’s really international television, it’s fun,” he says. “It’s really amazing where the reach goes and how many people, when they travel to Denver, come in and say, ‘We saw you on [so-and-so show].’ You definitely feel the impact.”

Sister restaurant Ace Eat Serve will be hosting a watch party on Sunday evening in its ping-pong hall. Catch the episode and enjoy happy hour all night long (from 2 to 11 p.m.), plus Steuben’s Buffalo hot wings for $1 each. You can even play ping-pong for free using the code “Blue Plate Special.”
