It all began with a jewelry box Dustin Nyhus built for his wife. The box garnered such praise from houseguests that it inspired him to take the idea further and start a business rendering artwork onto around-the-house items such as duvet covers, shower curtains, and jewelry armoires. Nyhus’ company, Denver-based Deny Designs, partners with nature photographers, abstract painters, and graphic designers—several from Colorado—to put their work on its furnishings. We’re eyeing the wall clocks, like this one ($150) featuring a design by Khristian A. Howell.
