Remember the fresh-faced cops featured in the late ’80s-early ’90s television police drama, 21 Jump Street? The show’s stars, played by Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson Peete, were placed in an undercover unit to stop crime in high schools and colleges.

Fast forward almost 25 years, inject a hefty dose of comedy, and 21 Jump Street is reborn on the big screen. This time starring Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Rob Riggle, and Ice Cube. Hill (co-writer and executive producer) recasts the TV classic into a show of two delinquent cops who are sent to police a high school from the inside out. In theaters now, the film grabbed the number one spot in its opening weekend (and grossed $35 million).
