This Halloween, trade the candy for something more exciting: a spooky-themed cocktail. Better yet, turn your night into a bar crawl and dub it adult trick-or-treating.

Begin your haunt at Riverfront with Al Lado’s Sinister Sangría. This slightly spicy cocktail is easy to drink thanks to muddled orange and green apple, hibiscus, habanero-infused tequila, red wine, and blood orange purée.

Then, make your way to Colt & Gray on Platte Street for a Satan’s Whiskers. Sip the devilish mix of gin, sweet and dry vermouth, orange juice, Cointreau, and house-made orange bitters. (Meanwhile, ogle the conversation-starting collection of drink mixers, such as “unicorn tears.”)

Finish up the evening at Linger, an obvious choice since the property previously housed part of the Olinger Mortuary. Order the appropriately named Corpse Reviver #2 (pictured). Strong but subtle, this blend of gin, Lillet Blanc, Combier d’Orange, and lemon juice gets its ghostly glow from absinthe.

Bonus: You can park once and access all three of these locations using 15th Street and the pedestrian bridge.
