From guides to each stage of the race to our favorite bicycle shops around Denver, we give you all you need to know during Colorado’s favorite road-cycling race.

You want excitement? Welcome to the time trial. Of the three times the USA Pro Challenge has held this individual stage in Vail, the largest margin of victory was four seconds. The cyclists start in town and ride a gentle grade up to Vail Pass. Then it’s three miles of steady climbing to the finish line.

Distance: 10 miles
