Hickenlooper Stays Put, Says No to GovernorDenver Mayor John Hickenlooper surprised many political observers this morning by announcing that he will not run for governor in 2006. What seemed like a foregone conclusion on Saturday bubbled over on Sunday. But this morning, Hickenlooper announced to his staff that he was staying where he is.
