Colorado’s Sen. Ken Salazar has made his decision. Despite Connecticut Democrats choosing Ned Lamont as their Senate candidate, he will support Joe Leiberman in his independent party bid for the U.S. Senate.
“I want to see Joe Lieberman back in the Senate because he is one of those senators in the center, one of the moderate Democrats and Republicans who get things done,” Salazar said Wednesday in Pueblo. “I gave him my word that I would support him and I will.”
Who else is backing Lieberman? Among Democratic senators, only Sens. Ben Nelson (D-NE), Tom Carper (D-Delaware) andMark Pryor (D-Arkansas) .

Lieberman Tries to Exploit British Terror Threat
Joe Lieberman, puppet of the Bush Administration. “If we just pick up like Ned Lamont wants us to do, get out by a date certain, it will be taken as a tremendous victory by the same people who wanted…
Ken, you may be eating your words in 4 yrs when the voters in CO make their choice. Conn. for Lieberman (CFL) party candidate Joe Lieberman (CT-CFL) was out of step with his Democratic party in CT on so many issues : the last Dem to back off on the Bush plan for Social Security, Terry Schivo, Atilo (yes, he voted not to confirm, but only when the Dem positon was not going to hold. What about cloture, Joe?), his comment about “a short drive to another hospital” with regard to emergency contraceptive is hardly hartwarming to those who need it. Joe is a big business, power hungry man who does not think the people of CT can VOTE and choose “properly”. Who does he think he is? The last Sunday BEFORE the voting, Joe FINALLY changed his tune on his pro-war ploy. He handed out a list of 27 times he had been “critial of the war’s execution”. Guess what, 23 of those were way back in 2003 when he was posturing for a presidential run in the Dem primary. I guess the last 3 yrs things have just gone swimingly in Iraq. What a two-faced lair. Any support that is given to him by people in power like Sen. Salazar should be regard as “at their own peril”.
