I’m back from spending four days in Chicago at the Yearly Kos bloggers’ convention. Colorado was well represented. From the bloggers at Colorado Confidential and Square State to the activists at Progress Now Action and Drinking Liberally, from the fact gatherers at Colorado Media Matters to politicos like Mark Udall’s Senate campaign manager, hopeful Udall House successor Jared Polis and former House candidate Jay Fawcett, everywhere I went I encountered a local face.
One new face I got to meet briefly was Jason Rosenberg, the recently appointed online communications director for the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Which got me thinking about Boston in 2004 and how great it will be next year to attend a convention without having to get on an airplane or stay at an overpriced hotel.
Say what you want about Heavenly Beds, there’s no place like home.
