Early Projections

Polls on the East coast are closed. CBS is projecting three states, Georgia, Indiana and Kentucky for Bush. Vermont has been called for Kerry. Surprisingly, South Carolina and Virginia are too close to call. Driving out of downtown Denver today around 4:00, I was passing the State Capitol at 14th and Broadway when there was a cacophony of car honking. I looked around and saw a handful of people with Kerry/Edwards signs. The drivers were going wild. I didn't see any Bush signs. I'll be heading down to Democratic headquarters before the polls close here where I will be a 5280 reporter. Luis will be there too. We'll both have lots to tell, so bookmark us and keep checking back.
