Arcade Fire Heats Up Larimer Lounge Tonight

One of the latest hotshot indie rock bands is Montreal's Arcade Fire, and several of my in-the-know friends have gushed sufficiently (as did reviewers for Rolling Stone and Pitchfork) that I'm off to check them out tonight at the Larimer Lounge, in lieu of prior plans to check out Moscow Underground. The show was reportly sold out in advance, but the LL web site is claiming to have extra tix available at the door at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully they'll live up to the hype. Wanna check out their debut album, Funeral? Merge Records signed the band earlier this year and has a few songs streaming online for your listening pleasure.
