Are you angered by big media and its coverage of events? Wednesday night Colorado Media Reform will be hosting its monthly Fight Big Media Meetup at 7 p.m. at the Mercury Cafe, 2199 California St. Also sure to get some folks worked up is Danny Schecter's new film, Weapons of Mass Deception on big media's coverage of the Iraq war. The film is in Denver this week only at the Starz Film Center :

The film shockingly reveals the Bush administration's premeditated and controlled shaping of public opinion and demonstrates the media's complicity in that packaging. Schechter challenges journalists and audiences to think about and question the "news" disseminated each day.
