Secret Santa

The Denver Broncos' John Lynch will be making the holidays a little brighter for certain boys and girls this year. He's been throwing a "Secret Santa" party for eight years, and brings the tradition from Tampa to Denver for the first time on Tuesday night at the DCPA. His John Lynch Foundation works with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, and each metro area club nominated one particular child to attend the party. These children weren't in a position to expect any gifts from Santa this year, but Lynch and his wife Linda have been working with club directors to choose one special present for each child, all donated by area Wal-Mart stores. Whether it's a bicycle, a particular book, or a new doll, each child will be surprised when Santa makes a special appearance just for them. After dinner and Santa's visit, the kids will each receive tickets to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring those leggy ladies, the Rockettes.
