Elway Online

We know from our server logs that lots of folks come to 5280.com looking for our May 2003 interview with John Elway, in which the Denver Bronco Hall of Famer candidly discussed his life after football, shared the pain of the recent deaths of his father and sister, and reflected on the end of his marriage. Interest in the article when it was first published was unprecented: The issue sold out at more than 500 area newsstands in a matter of days, forcing us to go back on press to print an additional 10,000 copies meet the incredible demand. An electronic version of the interview has been online for some time. Unfortunately, due to some quirks with Google, the article itself doesn't always show up in searches. So, for the benefit of our readers as well as Google, here is a direct link to the article: Elway Alone.
