Tancredo for President?

Colorado Politics reports that Rep. Tom Tancredo is in New Hampshire today with fellow conservative Bay Buchanan to give out an award to an official who stopped a carload of undocumented residents. (The feds later released them, having no interest in the case.) There is actually an Internet movement afoot to nominate Tancredo for President. Let's look at some of his positions on issues (taken from the second link):
  • a fiscal conservative
  • Supports the annihilation of H1B and L1 visa's to help American tech workers
  • NAFTA - "There are people in the [Bush] administration, and in Mexico, and in Congress, who believe that we should do away with borders entirely. Their ultimate goal is to create this hemispheric 'free trade' area consolidating all of North and South America into some kind of 'United States of the Americas.'"
  • Supports a constitutional admendment to outlaw flag desecration
  • Insist on secure borders, supports militarizing the border to slow/stop illegal immigrants and drug smuggling.
Who do you think Tancredo would pick as his running mate?

Lou Dobbs....of course!

I don't worry about who he might pick as his running mate because realistically he won't get the nomination.
