Where is Everybody?

I agree with Kat, downtown is dead. Friday night, 7:30 pm, streets, the parking garage, even the bar and restaurant at a fancy hotel with many registered stars, were empty. Driving past the convention center, traffic flowed like a regular day. Looking inside, there were very few people on the escalators. However, there are more police cars dowtown than I've ever seen. So, where is everybody? Maybe at JW Marriott in Cherry Creek? The Avenue Grill at 17th and Pearl was busy, but all I saw was was work and neighborhood folks, not NBA people, Maybe everybody's out looking for a 2004 Mazda 6 sedan with license plate 980 KLS, last seen at 10th and Marion. If you see it, call 911.
