Wal Mart Workers Won't Unionize

Giant Wal-Mart scored a big victory today when Loveland workers voted not to unionize. The vote was 17 to 1. The union, UFCW Local 7, is undeterred. It is going to protest the vote to the National Labor Relations Board. The grounds:
  • A pro-union worker claims harassment by other Wal-Mart employees
  • An accusation that Wal-Mart stacked the vote by increasing the number of workers yin the Tire and Lube division.
If the workers had voted the other way, it would have been the first Wal-Mart store in the country to unionize.
