The Colorado International Spring Series, one of the country's top cross-country ski races, hits the track from March 26-April 2. The event debuted in Colorado last year, and organizers hope to this year attract more than 200 elite skiers as well as weekend warriors who want to come out andÃŠcompete with the world's Lycra-clad hardbodies for $18,000 in cash and $15,000 in prizes. Presented by Devil's Thumb Ranch, the six-stage race takes place in the Winter Park area at Devil's Thumb Ranch, Snow Mountain Ranch, and Winter Park Resort. Skiers of all ability levels are invited to participate; registration closes on March 24th. Bailamos! Cabaret Diosa, a 10-piece mambo rock ensemble, brings a bit of Latin flavor to the Sherman Street Events Center this weekend.
