A 5280 Tribute

The New York Observer has a moving article today about 5280 Executive Editor Maximillian Potter and the two National Magazine Awards he's been nominated for. The awards are for Conduct Unbecoming, coverage of an Air Force cadet's rape trial, and Private Sites Should Have Been Saved, about the suicide of an army enlistee. In the Observer article, Max gives great credit to Daniel Brogan, our 5280 publisher. I found myself nodding in agreement as he described Dan, and since Dan just left town on a rare family vacation, I thought this would be a good time to both echo Max's praise for him and urge everyone to read Max's articles.
