Stones Hit the Stage

No, it's not Santa Claus, but the expectations are just as high, even if the fans are much older. The Rolling Stones are coming to town. While announcing the details of the next Rolling Stones World Tour at a press conference today in New York, Mick, Keith, Charlie, and Ronnie surprised everyone with a three-song performance on stage at Juilliard. It's apparently the first time the Stones have jammed for a press event since 1975. Seems the guys are ready to rock & roll -- this tour includes special seating for several hundred fans on stage with the Rolling Stones, a hot ticket indeed -- and will once again include the high-end Gold Circle seating but with 95 percent of the venue kept at relatively reasonable prices. Expect to pay around $110 (plus service charges) when they come through here. Catch the show in Denver on November 24 at the Pepsi Center; Tickets for the East coast leg of the tour go on sale May 14, but the Denver on-sale date is still TBA.
