Ranking Colorado's Most Conservative Cities

The non-partisan Bay Area Center for Voting Research has ranked the most conservative cities in the country. In the category of cities with more than 100,000 people, Colorado Springs ranked sixth in the nation. Several other Colorado cities were far less conservative:
Arvada (61); Westminster (79); Lakewood (85); Pueblo (107); Fort Collins (108); Aurora (161); and Denver (189).
Statistics from the 2004 presidential race were used to compute the rankings.
