Lend A Hand

Our good friends at Project Angel Heart could use your help:

Project Angel Heart volunteers deliver nutritious meals to men, women, and children living with life-threatening illnesses. This year Project Angel Heart is expecting a 37% increase in the number of clients served since 2004 and there are not enough volunteer drivers to meet the increased demand... In the past 2 weeks, over 50 new clients have started receiving meals! For every five new clients who start service, a driver is needed to ensure they receive much-needed nutritious meals to fight their illness. Drivers will pick up a week's worth of meals and deliver them to a client's home. Pick up time is at 1:00 pm on Saturdays.

My eight-year-old son and I have been delivering Angel Heart meals for more than two years. It's one of the most fulfilling things you can do with just a few hours of your time. More infomation is here, or call Emily Frank at 303-830-0202 x24.
