- Stock up on spooky goodies in the shapes of pumpkins, bats, and witch's hats from Rheinländer Bakery. Our favorite of the bunch: The buttery, iced ghost cookies. 5721 Olde Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, 303-467-1810.
- On Monday, Oct. 31, An orange and black outfit and $25 buys you a chef's choice Italian dinner and three drinks at Via. Tax and tip not included. Call for reservations. 1801 Wynkoop St., 303-295-1488.
- Three Capitol Hill bed-and breakfasts have teamed up together to host the first-annual Victorian Halloween Progressive Tea. You pick your starting point (Adagio B&B, Castle Marne B&B, or Holiday Chalet B&B) and at each spot, you'll snack on treats such as witches brew punch, bat-wiches, pumpkin bread, and chocolate-spider cupcakes. Take a tour of each decorated "haunted" house before moving along to the next spot. Tea party starts at 1 p.m. sharp. Tickets are $25, call for reservations. Adagio, 1430 Race St., 303-370-6911; Castle Marne, 1572 Race St., 303-331-0621; Holiday Chalet, 1820 E. Colfax Ave., 303-321-9975.
