Salazar Says Alito Filibuster Unlikely

Senator Ken Salazar said during his weekly conference call with reporters today that a filibuster of Supreme Court nominee Judge Sam Alito is unlikely:
"My own sense from my colleagues is that a filibuster is not likely, but I'd say that ... we are at the beginning of this process," Salazar said during a weekly conference call on Wednesday. "There is still a lot of information that needs to be made available."
I didn't know that Sen. Salazar had a weekly conference call with reporters. I wonder how many bloggers have been invited to participate. I suspect the answer is "none."
