Film Festing, Part II

There are almost too many to choose from. I flipped through the entire film festival schedule today, and I'm overwhelmed. Of course, I missed the boat on a few of my top-of-list films: Duck, Matador, Combover: The Movie, L'Amant, Bride of Silence, and Mrs. Henderson Presents are all sold out. But I will be seeing Casanova on Friday, during the "Big Night" bash, once again at the new Ellie Caulkins Opera House. I'd also like to see the Colorado Filmmakers showcases (I and II run on different days). And I'm planning to simply head down to the Starz Film Center -- maybe this Thursday? -- and see what's playing, what's available, and what sounds good at the moment. There are so many great films that will be gone next week. If you haven't made it to see one or two yet, I'd highly encourage you to try the film fest. If you're like me, you'll love it, and will be planning much further ahead next year.

Kim, if you are coming down Thursday, please see Life in the Death Belt. It would be great to meet you after blogging with you all this time, and it's a great film. Stephen Bright and the Director will be there too.
