Bill Cosby Called...

... and he wants his sweater back. Have you heard this before? If so, you have the perfect ensemble for the Dated Holiday Sweater Skate Night at the Belmar Plaza ice rink this Thursday. Break out your worst holiday sweater or sweatshirt, dust off those ice skates, and you can skate for free all night while laughing hysterically at the fashion disasters surrounding you. We're talking really bad stuff here; puffy knit snowmen, painted wreaths with glued-on bells and glitter, and anything that sings "Jingle Bells" are likely candidates. Of course, if you have to settle for an only-sort-of-embarrassing item, grab whatever overdone item you have in your closet and join the fun. Not the skating type? Me neither. But the people watching will be worth the trip, and Belmar has other events to offer on Thursday; hit the Lucky Strike Lanes for holiday drink specials and go bowling instead, or drop by the nearby Jeffco Action Center to drop off warm clothing items for their warm clothing drive to help the homeless.
