Colorado's 7th CD - Early Polling

Take the CD-7 Poll. Colorado Pols has a poll up on candidates for the 7th Congressional District, a seat that is wide-open since its current occupant, Bob Beauprez is running for Governor. The Denver Post says the race is attracting local and national attention.
The coming election season is expected to bring national political attention rarely seen in Colorado. The nonpartisan Cook Political Report places the Colorado 7th among the nine most competitive House races in the nation. Chris Cillizza, who writes the political insider The Fix blog on Washingtonpost.com, ranks it at No. 1.
At the time I took the poll today, the top two candidates were Democrats Peggy Lamm and Ed Perlmutter. The closest Republican challenger was Rick O'Donnell, probably boosted by an October fundraising event headlined by Dick Cheney.
