A Violent Day for a Denver Law Firm
The law firm of Appel & Lucas at 19th and Market had a very unpleasant day Monday. First, a man came in and threw two molotov cocktails in its front lobby. They failed to explode. He then ran out and was chased by two of the firms employees. The culprit took out a gun and started firing. Luckily, no one was hit.
Someone got the license number of the car the man drove away in. Tonight, police arrested 69-year-old John Volske at his home in Colorado Springs.
A disgruntled client? I tend to doubt it. The firm handles corporate bankruptcies. Also, the article says:
Police said the older man was apparently upset with the law firm. Employees said he was not a client of the law firm.Maybe it was a stockholder or creditor of a company that went kaput. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. In the meantime, have you hugged your lawyer today?

Anonymous really needs to get the facts straight. The maintenance was in arrears and the ex-was in contempt of court since the time of divorce. The ex is getting just what he deserves for being a jerk and a liar. And how her current husband is paying his attorney fees are really not any ones business.People shouldn't delve into others lives unless they know the whole story, which obviously no one here does!!!
