Bill Clinton will be in Denver Wednesday for a lunchtime fundraiser for Congressional candidate Ed Perlmutter. I suspect it will be a large gathering because just yesterday the event was moved to the Grand Ballroom at the J.W. Marriott in Cherry Creek. I'll be in attendance and hope to have some quotes later in the day. On a related note, it seems the Republicans are giving up on Rick O'Donnell.

Signaling retreat, House Republicans are scaling back television advertising in three highly contested races, including Republican Rick O'Donnell's campaign in Colorado's 7th Congressional District.

President Bush will be in Colorado Saturday to campaign for Marilyn Musgrave and Bob Beauprez but there' s no mention of him doing another pitch for O'Donnell.
