Denver Homeless Shelters Ready for the Storm

Denver's homeless shelters have an emergency preparedness plan that kicks in when the temperature falls below 32 degrees. They vowed Wednesday night no one would be turned away. There are ways you can help:

The [Denver Rescue] Mission said it currently needs blankets, winter clothing for men, women, and children including long underwear, coats, hats, gloves, waterproof boots/shoes, and ski pants. People can drop off items at 1130 Park Avenue West any time.
