Police have are seeking three alleged gang members in the Darrent Williams killing. They are not releasing the names. Jason wrote yesterday about the humorously inept paint job on the suspect SUV, now in police custody. I was wondering, how many cans of spray paint does it take to spottily paint an SUV? How many stores in the Denver area sell spray paint and which ones were open New Years Day or the day after? Wouldn't a sales person remember selling the spray paint in light of the media attention to the case? Maybe one of those stores had a surveillance camera that captured the images of the purchasers? Of course, it's possible those who painted the SUV had the cans on hand, but still, I think it would be worth a few calls to find out. Any professional or junior sleuths out there? What would you recommend the police do to find the killer?
