The black, Hispanic and Asian-American caucuses exist because few members of Congress come from those racial groups and they need a unified voice, said Rep. Raul M. Grijalva, D-Ariz.In the law arena, we have African-American, Hispanic, Asian and Women's Bar Associations. They serve a vital function -- promoting issues that pertain to their members.
