Jared Polis Enters Race for Mark Udall's Seat

Jared Polis has entered the race for the House seat being vacated by Mark Udall who is running for retiring Sen. Wayne Allard's Senate seat. Jared's competition so far are two other Democrats, state Senate president Joan Fitz-Gerald and Will Shafroth, head of the Colorado Conservation Trust. His platform:
Polis said today that he will focus on education, affordable health care, caring for the environment and eliminating the cycle of poverty.
Also of importance: Ending the war on Iraq.
"We must end the war in Iraq so we can focus on combating poverty and discrimination and growing a more inclusive and sustainable economy here at home."
But where is he on immigration? On the death penalty? On the war on drugs? On life sentences for juveniles? I think I'll give him a call and see if he's up for a 5280 interview.
