Associated Press, Do Your Homework

The Denver Post reports Willie Clark, a "person of interest" in the Darrent Williams murder investigation, is now in federal custody. The article is written by Associated Press reporters.
Police have said they hoped Clark could provide information to help find Williams' killer. They said his name came up in the investigation but declined to give specifics. Clark's attorney, Michael Andre, has said Clark has no information about the shooting. A message left after business hours at an office number listed for Andre was not immediately returned.
That's because Michael Andre died in February . Andre's death garnered substantial headlines at the time, including in the Denver Post. Please, can't the AP do better than this?
