Every year, on the last Sunday in July, the town of Fairplay, CO hosts Burro Days--a festival of assorted animal races, craft shows and entertainment which marked it's 60th anniversary this past Sunday. Getting there is half the fun. The 90-minute drive from Denver up Hwy 285 over Kenosha Pass and into the South Park basin is arguably one of the most scenic in Colorado.
