Concept Cars Hit Denver

Suzuki Basecamp Concept SUV

Driving past the Denver Convention Center I couldn't help but notice this shiny SUV with a large gullwing door parked outside the south exhibit hall. Suzuki Auto is hosting it's annual dealer show and on display were several concept cars--including the Basecamp SUV (pictured above) complete with a microwave, refrigerator, LED roof lights and roof-mounted cameras. View the press release and additional images of the Basecamp. Maybe not the ideal car for Colorado, check out the Makai--great for the 1800-mile trip to sunny San Diego.

Leonie Wanke, Senior PR Administrator, says the company chose Denver to show off their latest concept vehicles but the real emphasis was the introduction of their 2008 lineup to US dealers. More info is available at SuzukiAuto.com.
