Argonaut to Move, Become "Greenest" Liquor Store in World

The Argonaut Liquor store on Colfax and Washington, where I have been buying my spirits for more than 30 years, is moving -- one building to the east. Starting in October, it will be on Colfax and Clarkson. Among the other changes: 3 floors, more parking spaces. What the owners, the Robinson family, are most proud of, is the green technology going into the new store:

The Robinsons are proud of the "green" features, which will include 5 to 10 kilowatts of solar power, nontoxic paint, energy-efficient lighting and low-water-use plumbing and fixtures, some recycled materials, and the most energy-efficient heating and cooling systems on the market. "This will be the "greenest" liquor store in the world," Scott Robinson said.
