DNCC Coming to Grand Junction

Are you on the Western Slope and wondering how the Democratic Convention affects you or how you can get involved? The 2008 Democratic National Convention Committee will be hosting a community forum Wednesday in Grand Junction to answer questions and provide information.
Colorado State Representative Bernie Buescher will join Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) CEO Leah D. Daughtry for the eighth in a series of community forums at 11:30 a.m. TOMORROW, Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in Grand Junction, Colo. The series - "Convention Conversations: A Traveling Forum Sponsored by the DNCC" - launched in Denver in September and has traveled to Las Vegas and Salt Lake City as well as Pueblo, Boulder, Lakewood and Colorado Springs, Colo. in recent months. The community forums are open to the public and are designed to provide residents throughout the state of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain West with opportunities for direct communication with top Convention organizers and local elected officials. The forum also presents a venue to ask questions, share ideas and find out how residents can get involved in the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
The forum will be held 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at: Mesa State College Campbell College Center--Liff Auditorium 1151 Elm Ave. Grand Junction, Colo. If you'd like to attend, send an e-mail to rsvp-at-demconvention.com.
