Best Bet Tonight: Noah Sugarman

What: Twenty-six-year-old LA-based singer/songwriter Noah Sugarman brings his unique blend of beat-boxing, bluegrass, and folk to Denver. Why: Sugarman's lyrics are raw, unfiltered, and surprisingly gratifying in their blunt descriptions. Bonus: If you like the show, follow Sugarman long the northern Front Range. Friday he'll play at Avogadro's Number in Fort Collins, and Saturday he hits up Boulder's B.side lounge. Details: Thu 8 p.m. 3 Kings Tavern, 60 S. Broadway. $6.
