Mici Expands

We recently learned that Mici, one of our favorite downtown lunch spots, is opening a second location in Cherry Creek North. Taking over the former Le Peep space at Second Avenue and Milwaukee Street, the low-key eatery will begin serving its brand of Italian starting early August. Plan on rustic pizzas, fresh pastas, and stacked paninis.

Our top pick: The verdura panino with fresh mozzarella, provolone, spinach, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, pesto, and aïoli on ciabatta. The sammy is so good, we chose it as a Best Bite in the January 2007 issue.
