Farm-to-Table Dinners

Almost weekly, from June through October, Meadow Lark Farm Dinners parks its mobile kitchen (a retro-fitted, 13-year-old school bus) on one of six Boulder County farms. Taking the freshest of farm produce, founders and bus chefs Veronica Volny and China Tresemer prepare a four-course meal. Earlier this summer, the duo served ricotta-stuffed fried squash blossoms and grilled skirt steak with summer sweet-corn succotash, while the Boulder Wine Merchant's master sommelier, Nate Ready, poured the wine. Dinners to come promise plenty of golden corn, plump cherry tomatoes, and sweet peaches. Upcoming dinners: Thursday, July 10; Saturday, July 12; Friday, July 18; Sunday, July 20, 6:30 p.m. $55-$75. Locations vary. Bonus: Boulder too far? Duo Restaurant brings local farmers and their harvests to the city for its summer Farmer's Dinners series.
