A DNC Week "Denver for Darfur" Concert

If you'll be in Denver during convention week and would like to attend a nonpartisan event, here's a great one. Denver for Darfur will take place Tuesday night at Red Rocks, headlined by Willie Nelson. It's sponsored by Denver for Darfur and Project CURE:

This nonpartisan Democratic National Convention week event will raise funds and awareness for the daily struggle for survival faced by the people of Darfur. "In the midst of terrible violence and genocide, the people of the Darfur region in Sudan also face a desperate shortage of medical supplies," said Denver for Darfur spokesman Jeff Bridges. "Project C.U.R.E. can ship $20 worth of medical supplies to Darfur for every one dollar we raise. That's an incredible return on investment for our donors and will make a world of difference in Darfur."

Tickets are still available.
