"History in Denver" Posters Just a Click Away

The cover of our August issue, which celebrates the historic nature of the upcoming Democratic National Convention, has generated a few predictably lunk-headed responses. One caller argued strenuously -- and apparently with a straight face -- that we should have done a second cover featuring Republican John McCain (remind me again, which night is McCain speaking at the convention?).

But the vast majority of the response to our Shepard Fairey-illustrated cover has been overwhelmingly positive. Several callers have even asked for a poster-version of the cover. We're working on something a little more polished and permanent, but in the meantime, we've posted some downloadable versions here. There's also a wallpaper version for the iPhone (you've got your iPhone, right?)

So have at 'em. Just like Fairey's original "Hope" poster, you're free to post them wherever you see fit.
